After looking at the automated videos and sifting through the drafts I found this video, one put to the side, nothing overly exciting or shareable, little to know how I would cling to moments like this watching back in a different perspective. This was filmed on November 18th 2022 and Phil was so happy. As i mentioned in the video we has just had Nathan and responsibilities at home the dogs hadn't been walked in 4 days so they were super hyper. Phil had energy, of course he didn't move as fast as the others on account of arthritis etc but he hovered around the door. I see the playful attitude of him at the door just thinking he wants to play but as soon as he gets in he darts toward Nathan in his crib, who knows maybe he was just excited to get in and see his new brother. Phil has always been described as being human like, you can see every expression, his emotions and his reactions to his favourite people are definitely on human level. His understanding was different. He is just such an amazing charachter and he definitely would have done anything for his little brother and sister! In just over one year from here the decline was too fast, knowing now and being able to compare sheds a different light. He was loved more each day but less than the next as each day with him brought more joy! It brings joy to us seeing him so happy in these videos.
