Persona 5 Tactica is the newest Persona 5 spinoff as well as the first tactical RPG in the Persona series. It's also the first time in a while since the strategy RPG in the Megami Tensei series in general. Despite being overshadowed by the likes of Metaphor ReFantazio and Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5 Tactica has still managed to receive mostly positive reception from what I've observed upon release. In this video, I will give my first impressions on Persona 5 Tactica based on the first 8 or so hours I've spent playing it so far. Spoilers for the first (and some of the second) kingdom will be inevitable. This will be a basic rundown of the first chapter of the story and a look at the gameplay mechanics. Despite not finishing the game, I think I've pretty much got most of P5T figured out based on familiar patterns. For as admittedly addicting as P5 Tactica is, Tactica is very predictable in terms of its story. Nonetheless, I do think Persona 5 Tactica brings a new flavor to the series that none of the other games quite have.
