Recently, I've been able to try out the Peripeteia demo, a love letter to "immersive sims" like Deus Ex and System Shock in offering massive levels that allow nonlinear completion. Although very rough and janky, the developers have crafted a very unique and engrossing world alongside satisfying gameplay and effective mechanics with plenty of potential to grow.
