Sorry if my voice sounds a bit off I was having some allergies. I bought these underwear despite knowing my period would be too heavy for them. I will likely mostly use them towards the end of my period since that's when my period is at its lightest. Having even a few days without a pad can be a great relief to my skin. Since I won't be using these throughout my whole period I probably won't need more than two. If things change and my periods become lighter I may get more. They feel like normal underwear although they do feel a bit tighter when you use a thick pad with them.
I think they will be a life saver for anyone who has light periods or anyone who uses tampons or menstrual cups. If your period is on the heavy side there may be limits to how long you can use these panties before they start leaking. Everyone has different interpretations of what is heavy based on their own experience. What one person considers heavy another may consider medium or even light. There are medical standards to determine what's heavy and not, but most people aren't familiar with that kind of thing.
I tested these for three cycles to have a good idea what they are like. For anyone who is like me and a have heavy periods...I leave it up to you to decide if these will help you. They can help with some leaks but leaks that involve lots of fluid pouring out rapidly will not be stopped.
