When Pawn Stars premiered on History in 2009, few could have anticipated just how successful the reality series would become. Now in its 15 th season, the show centres on the daily activities of the WorldFamous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, a business run by the Harrison family. Customers bring in their goods to sell or pawn, often not having a clue what their items are worth. Although they have the option of buying it back, most just take the cash and run. It’s up to the Harrison boys to cut them a deal they can’t refuse – while also trying to make some money themselves. Some of the finds on the show have turned out to be complete duds, raking in next to no cash, but in other cases, the Pawn Stars hit the jackpot with rare oneoff items that bring in the big bucks. With the sad passing of the family elder, Richard “Old Man” Harrison announced last week, there’s no better time than this to look over some of their biggest finds.
