we just got a RAKE for our German Shepherd Knox. i could insulate a house with the hair this guy sheds :( but thats the cost of doing business i guess. but this thing works great. if your dog fur is knotty you would deff be tugging so be careful because you might hurt them. the tines have a edge to cut the knots but it would still be tough i bet. so far ive raked Knox a bunch and he likes it.
