Part 6 Gray Mother Fox Moving Baby Foxes Texas Hill Country Canyon Lake, TX

The mother fox who has been hanging around my front door, has been moving the baby foxes around. First from my neighbors two rock walls (Dens 1 & 2), to behind my house, down a hill under some cactus; there must be a fox den below the cactus (Den 3). To now some rocks behind our house on my neighbor's property. (Den 4)

I have counted seven babies at once and up to ten babies in two dens. Some of the babies appear to be older than the others. This mother fox has been feeding most of the babies. There may be another mother fox, since I have seen her a few times near one of the dens.

My neighbor and I have acquired nutritious food for this desperate fox family. We are only assisting because the mother fox has been begging for help. We are careful not to make the foxes dependent on us.
