How to finish 3d prints and postprocessing to get ready for painting!

We are back to basics! Painting 3D Prints for Beginners tutorial series featuring a super awesome "The Thing" chibi. Welcome to the first part of this four part series on 3D printing and painting basics. In this series, I will be taking you through the entire process step by step to create an amazing painted 3D printed work of art.

This video is getting you started at the ground level with post processing your PLA 3D print. I begin with taking the finished 3D print off of the printer build plate. Then I go over taking off supports, smoothing your prints, sanding and putty your prints, as well the assembly and gluing together for those perfect seamless joints. After you're done watching you will have a full understanding of what you need to do for postprocessing and finishing a 3D printed model.
