Tim and I visited Padre National Seashore along the Texas Gulf Coast. A sixty one mile Barrier Island managed by the National Parks Department that was managed very poorly.
We started out pretty excited about this part of our Gulf of Mexico Circumnavigation but were sorely disappointed by how the National Parks Department handled the cleanliness of this park. The fact is they leave it up to the visitor to do their dirty work and its not working. Their solution is not sustainable and a complete failure. We do not recommend visiting this National Park until they get their act together.
Come along with us as we traveled along this National Seashore and ran into some obstacles along the way that cut our visit very short.
