During the IDC you need to play the role of Dive Instructor during Confined Water and Open Water Presentations. During these presentations you need to evaluate PADI IDC Skills and correct any occurring Problems and give the right Solutions for the IDC Skills.

A PADI Examiner will assign some of these problems and will evaluate the IDC Candidate on how he or she is correcting these problems. The IDC Candidate is scored on 5 criteria:

Briefing
Demonstration Criteria
Problem Solving Criteria
Control and Delivery Criteria
Debriefing Criteria

III. PROBLEM SOLVING CRITERIA
1. Diver(s) could have been injured.
2. Missed problem or responded incorrectly.
3. Slow to respond.
4. Responded correctly but no clear emphasis of the proper technique.
5. Responded correctly and emphasized proper technique with additional communication after problems.

In this PADI IDC Skills Problems and Solutions video, we focus on the Problem Solving Criteria part.
