Installing the Epson RTC72421 or FOX 72421 Real Time Clock IC.

1. Turn the TNC OFF & Disconnect power plug
2. Locate the IC Socket near the front and place the IC in the socket with the notch end on the backup battery side.
3. install the IC and put the lid back on.
4 Connect the power plug and turn on the TNC
5. Using a Terminal program at the CMD: prompt enter DAYTIME and enter the Date & Time as per the owner manual.

The Real Time Clock is read when the KPC3Plus is powered on or when a soft reset occurs.
