The album marks the first time that Cirque du Soleil explores vibrant Brazilian influences with composer Berna Ceppas. Ceppas, along with coproducer Alain Vinet, bring together diverse Brazilian samba sounds and intermingle them with electronic beats. This show soundtrack takes the listener through chillout melodies and yet energized butterfly flights: imagine hearing sampled insect sounds from the Amazon, big band flair and percussionheavy rhythms from the carnival streets of Rio de Janeiro, and crisp electronic music from cool white Montreal winters.
