We took our Jeep JL to Cape Cod for sanddriving. The trails are seasonal and permit is required. We took the 7day temporary permit which costed $50. Inspection by ranger is necessary for the permit. And equipments must meet their requirement Jack, Jack Broad, Shovel, Proper tire sizes, Rope, Tire gauge, Registration and Insurance. Beach Fire is not allowed but selfcontained fire such as stove or grille are allowed on the beach. You are also required to watch 8min long orientation program in the ranger station. Race Point Beach is part of Cape Cod National Seashore, drone / unmanned aircraft is prohibited.
