Today I am mowing a corner property with overgrown sidewalks and edges. I started with edging, then weed eating, mowing, and lastly blowing off the paved areas. This job ended up taking three days to complete due to the heavy rain.
All the overgrowth on the sidewalks and street has made it difficult for the rain water to drain properly. Once the sidewalks and street were cleared, the rain water began to flow better and cleared up by the end of the job. There was so much wet grass to be removed it took two trips to the landfill to dispose of it all.
The family that lives at the property was very grateful I mowed their lawn for free. At the end of the job I got to meet Peppa, their 150 pound pet pig. She was very strong and super interested in my boots! I was surprised how similar she was to a dog.
