Lino and Line

This is Part 1 of our video series, the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Come along with us as we explore Roanoke Island in Manteo, NC. Our first stop is the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site Visitor Center to check out the immersive exhibits on the Algonquian, and the English settlers. Then we will watch the 17minute dramatic video on the interaction between the Algonquian and the English. Then we walk towards the Waterside Theater, the home of “The Lost Colony” an outdoor symphonic drama. The performance is the nation's first, and longest running outdoor symphonic drama.
Then we will drive to the Roanoke Island Festival Park, a historic site that allows visitors of all ages to experience firsthand what life was like for the first English settlers in 1585. There are interpreters in historic costumes at the English Settlement site, and at the Elizabeth II ship that will demonstrate how the first settlers lived, worked and played on Roanoke Island. For a handson history lesson, we will visit the American Indian Town that feature interactive exhibits for all ages. Then just a short drive away, we will have our sumptuous late lunch at the Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar in the town of Manteo, NC.

About us:
We are husband and wife, and we travel, eat, love, and pray, since we were College sweethearts, and even now that we are grandparents. Traveling, and eating various cuisine has broaden our perspective, and understanding of the world around us. It gave us a better appreciation, respect, and love for others, and for all peoples of various culture, views, economic, and religious background. Traveling is not always smooth sailing, but we learn to embrace inconveniences, and possible unwanted circumstances, for this Bible verse form Philippians 4:6 reminds us daily, “don’t worry about anything, but pray always.” Traveling became our passion next to our Faith, and respective jobs serving, and caring for others, and we would like to share the joys of traveling, eating, loving, and praying, therefore we create videos that will inspire you to do the same.
