On April 12, 2024 we entered in to our very first barbecue cookoff. Only seemed right that since we build smoker pits that we at least try our hand in a competition that, let me tell you, is a serious affair. This isn’t the most thorough video of our experience since we were so busy but it’ll give you a taste of the fun we had and all that we learned as well.

We placed 11th in ribs, but nothing in chicken or brisket although we thought the chicken was pretty outstanding. The brisket was really good but just kept falling apart on us.
