Amsterdam is one of those cities that you see in photos and always say you want to visit! Well, we had the opportunity and we took it! Our sailing on Norwegian Prima started in Iceland and ended in Amsterdam. It was really cool to watch as the ship went through the locks to enter the Amstel River and sail into the city.

We have a day in the city before we leave so we will see what we can do... First up is we have to really see the canals that run through the city. We walk along them until we find where we can hop on one of the canal tours. This was perfect for us as we needed a day just to relax... But for dinner, we wanted to go to a recommended spot... Foodhallen! As in one location, we can try many different foods from around the world. We just love these food markets!
