We “transformed” our 2020 Nissan Rogue into an SUV camper! This was an extremely budgetfriendly, nonglamorous way to turn your SUV into a bed for camping. We’re headed out west this summer for a 10day road trip and needed to prepare for all things car camping. So, we headed to Tar Hollow State Park in Ohio to test it out. First, we prepped for camping reserving the campsite, prepping food, making window covers, & packing. Then, we converted the back of our SUV into a bed to test out how camping goes overnight. Some things went well, and some need to be modified.

We ended our camping trip by taking our kayak out for the first time in 2022 on Ross Lake, OH. It was quite literally the perfect camping weekend in the middle of April (85 degrees!)
