In Joseph, Oregon, at the base of the Wallowas, there’s one artist whose work adorns not only the galleries but also the front doors of many homes and businesses. Steve Arment is a carver, painter and builder. His work might best be described as folk art. And people around town just can’t seem to get enough of it.
