This new Black Ops episode is about Operation Viking Hammer, an important mission by the Green Berets, a special group of soldiers, to take down the militant group Ansar alIslam in northern Iraq. During the mission, they find signs that the militants were making chemical weapons connected to AlQaeda, which adds to the concerns about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The operation ends successfully with few injuries for the Green Berets, showing how important they were in securing northern Iraq and helping to push forward into Baghdad.
