Hello, mga B!

Happy 15th anniversary sa amin ni asawa! Sa espesyal na araw na ‘to, ibabahagi namin for the first time ang journey namin ni asawa at ang kung bakit wala pa kaming anak.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 30 years old. Dahil dito, nahirapan kami magkababy. We tried in vitro fertilization at fortunately, nabiyayaan kami with Molly. But we lost her after a few weeks. Sumubok pa kami ng different measures and went to a fertility clinic to help us get pregnant.

Kaliwa’t kanan ang mga test at labs para malaman if ready ang aking katawan for the embryo transfer. It gets frustrating at nadadama ko yung pagod physically at mentally. But grateful ako sa suporta ni asawa! We are praying for a miracle na with our last embryo, we will be successful to conceive our baby.

I would like to thank Dr. Majoy Lim, Dr. Richie Mendiola of Kato Repro Biotech Center, Dr. CJ Gloria of Manila Doctors Hospital, and Dr. Eileen Manalo of Makati Medical Center who have been with me through this journey.

For women who have infertility issues, you can check PSRM (Philippine Society for Reproductive Medicine) and PSRI (Philippine Society of Reproductive Immunology). These organizations specialize in reproductive medicine and offer a wide range of services and expertise to help individuals and couples struggling with infertility.

Masakit pagusapan ang journey na ito. We are still in the process of healing but I am hoping that those who have fertility issues will get professional advise from a fertility expert —the sooner the better!!!

Fertility is a HEALTH ISSUE at kaya itong magamot.
