I am experiencing issues with my #oneupcomponents V3 dropper remote (lever) crush cutting the cable at the lever. The version 3 remote is designed with a cam on the barrel. The cam is supposed to lift the cable as it rotates & provide a little extra pull on the cable.

However, the cam is squeezing my cable against the housing & slowly crushcutting the strands.

Today I swap the 4th cable & plan to closely watch it over the next 3 weeks. If the cable is damaged during the observation period, I will have to find another lever... I have reported this to OneUp, they did send a V2 lever but I am running & watching that one on another bike to compare the wear on both cables.. So far, V2 cable is still clean!
