After an Allegiant Airline employee forgot to add a carryon piece of luggage to my ticket, I decided to use the mistaken luggage restriction as an opportunity to pack in just a personal item. Yes, I could have added a bag to my ticket for about $75 total, but I wondered if I could find a durable, functional piece of rolling luggage that would fit the bill of the maximum personal item size allowed my Allegiant. As it turns out, what I spent on the luggage piece in this video is about that same cost.

I am using my ExOfficio #travelvest to hold my water bottle, in flight necessities, and my toiletries (as well as my mini #planner set up).

The luggage piece I’m packing is from Amazon. It is called #zomfelt. I also ordered two RUCYEN bags of similar design and price point, but the zipper broke on one of them and the other was very shoddily made. I do not recommend that brand at all. So far, after multiple and fairly rigorous packing and unpacking sessions preparing for the video, the Zomfelt brand does seem sturdy. I will report back after my trip—as that will be the real test!
