Vet Approved homemade dog food recipe (This is a 56 day serving size for a 50 pound dog)

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
2 pounds ground turkey
1 cup uncooked quinoa
1 bag of frozen peas and carrots

1. In a skillet, heat the oil over mediumlow heat. Add the turkey and cook until no more pink. Drain excess fat and set aside to cool.
2.Cook the quinoa as directed on the package and set it aside to cool. You should have 2 cups of cooked quinoa.
3. Heat up frozen veggies.
4.Add the veggies and quinoa to the cooked ground turkey. Mix everything well.
optional: add 1t of turmeric and 1/2C of pumpkin puree for added nutrients.

**The amount of homemade dog food that your dog will require is dependent upon weight, breed, and activity level. This amount varies from dogtodog. I suggest talking to your vet and getting their advice on serving size.

80100 pound: 2 3/4 cups 3 1/4 cups
