A visit to the greatest Zoo in the United States the Henry Doorly Zoo located in Omaha, Nebraska!

Now I'm a little biased because I grew up in Western Iowa, so I have a lot of fond memories visiting the Omaha Zoo that stretch all the way back the early '90s! This is my alltime favorite zoo in the country and is often ranked as the top zoo in the world.

The Henry Doorly Zoo (also called the Omaha Zoo) has the largest glazed geodesic dome on the planet that contains the world's largest indoor desert exhibit. Below this is the Kingdoms of the Night exhibit that has the world's largest indoor swamp. This zoo also has the world's largest indoor rainforest, one of the best aquariums on the planet, and the Hubbard Gorilla Valley is one of the best gorilla exhibits and research facilities in the country.
