NOTE: I had uploaded this video beforehand until I realised youtube decided not to autogenerate the thumbnails for the video properly and instead make them pitchblack, so I had to make a "custom" thumbnail by taking one frame of the video and rendering it, but not before uploading this for the second time. if this happens with every other video I upload from now on I am kinda going to be pissed since I don't have the energy to keep making custom thumbnails for all of the stuff I upload.

so I guess you weren't expecting this huh. before the end of the year I had been wondering... since I had made master system / game gear covers of generation 2's music, why don't I try doing gen 3's music on mega drive?

I'm not entirely sure if any of the songs here were covered by other people in mega drive style if they were, they probably used that one soundfont (.sf2) file that contains instruments and drum samples from several mega drive games and slapped them over a MIDI rendition of the song from the game, unlike what I did here as I arranged the songs on deflemask.
