Like a lot of struggling cities in America, Camden has seen a resurgence in recent years.... but only in some areas. The waterfront and immediate downtown area near Rutgers Camden has seen a large about of reinvestment and redevelopment. In contrast to this part, the "old" part of Camden to the south and west still struggles mightily with drugs, crime and abandoned buildings. This video shows the contrast between the two sides of Camden located walking distance from one another.
