I went back to where I grew up in Southern Ohio for the 4th of July, and of course I had to do some exploring while I was there. I knew there was a lot of history in the area, but I definitely found some things that I had never known about previously. And I took my brother along for the ride and that made it more fun too! Levanna still has a beautiful old hotel that is about 180 years old. Next, A side trip took us to a jail sitting on the Ohio River. Then was the town of Utopia that did not end up with a utopian past. And finally onto the birthplace of the 18th President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant and the appropriately named Point Pleasant.
