In this second episode of our new escape series, our octopus displays some pretty amazing skills that testify not only to its intelligence but also to its jawdropping dexterity.
This highly cooperative and tame individual was placed into a woman’s handbag (just like a wellbehaved chihuahua).
Even though this octopus had no previous experience with a zipper, it took it less than a couple of minutes to carefully unzip the bag and break free.
To honor its achievement, we decided to call this octopus Zipper. We hope that you enjoy watching Zipper’s deft use of arms and suckers and as always, we look forward to hearing some of your ideas for the next episodes of our escape series.
