Ocicat
Ocicat is one of the cat varieties. The country of origin is the United States.

breed born from the crossing of Abyssinian cats, Siamese and American shorthair in 1964.
It features wild looks but is not a mixed race with wild cats (Asian leopards) like Bengal.
Leopard pattern (spot) is characteristic. This spot is a cut of a classic tabby, and following the trajectory of the spot on the body side as seen from the side, it becomes a classic tabby cloud pattern. The head is round and wedgeshaped, and the face is a Cougar (American Lion) face. The eyes are large almond shaped. The ears are large and are located at the left and right corners of the parietal region. He is muscular and lean, heavier than it looks.
The body weight of males is preferably between 5.0 kg and 6.0 kg.
 The coat is shiny and has a handlike feel.
 There are a total of twelve colors: towney, dark brown, amber, blue, lavender, and fawn, as well as silver, ebony silver, dark brown silver, cinnamon silver, blue silver, lavender silver, and amber silver.

Ocicat's first breeder was Virginia Daily in Berkeley, Michigan, which began with the crossing of Abyssinian cat and Siam in 1964. The first generation kitten was similar to Abyssinian cat,
A spotted kitten was born in the second generation.
This kitten was a cat named Tonga. Called by the breeder's daughter under the nickname "Oshi". "Ocicat" comes from "Ocelot", which has a similar pattern.
Tonga was sold as a pet, but Tonga's parents have since spawned more spotted kittens, which became an independent project to spawn Ocicat. Other breeders agreed, using the same mating procedure to further breed a cat born between Siam and Abyssinian. Ocicat was first registered with the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA), but later moved to the championship show in 1987. Today, Ocicat has become popular around the world for its wild appearance and friendly personality.
