The 2012 presidential election cycle featured incumbent President Barack Obama, a Democrat, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee. The third debate focused on foreign policy, with a 90minute discussion broken up into six 15minute segments. Moderated by Bob Schieffer of CBS, it took place on October 22, 2012, in Boca Raton, Florida.
