Can the Nutri Ninja OR Nutribullet grind nuts into almond butter?

In this video, I put both of them to the test.

I tried to fill the cups up as evenly as possible with ROASTED and cooled almonds given they were two different sizes.

I tested it without oil, with oil it would probably be easier/different.

The Nutribullet Pro 900 did way better because it was able to create a vortex and pull the almonds towards the blades.

The Nutri Ninja Auto IQ struggled to form a vortex and kept pushing the nuts to the side of the cup.

Both did a good job at grinding nuts into powder.

Neither of these are ideal for almond butter WITHOUT ANY OIL, but you could probably get away with it in the Nutribullet if you REALLY wanted...

Instead I'd recommend getting a refurbished Vitamix or Blendtec for the job. Neither are THAT much more expensive and have much longer warranties in case something goes wrong when you're doing hard and thick blends like this.
