This is our attempt at a 100mile northern Wind River Range high route backpacking loop. My friend Katie joins me as we begin at the Trail Lake Trailhead, near Dubois Wyoming, in August 2021. This backpacking adventure is split between 7 episodes, one per day.

Day 1, we hiked from the Trail Lake TH to the lower Ross Lake.
