Northern Harrier hawk looking to be hunting for food while the wind was blowing pretty briskly. Caught it flying directly into the wind and briefly touched down in the grass for a quick second. This one appears to be an adult female. The Northern Harrier is the only harrier in North America. They have an owl like facial disk that allows them to hunt by sound as well as sight.
