Convoy of freeway snowplows following three police vehicles in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 going under the Weston Road overpass in North York, a suburb in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. At 11h pm on Monday night January 17th a mega snowstorm wreaked havoc across the GTA leaving accumulations of up to 60 cm in some areas of the city. Transport trucks and motorists were stranded as their vehicle became inoperative in the deep snow in an ordeal that in some cases lasted over 12 hours.
