UNPLUG. PAUSE. REBOOT. We're taking a break. A time out. Some time alone. We need to care for our individual health: Physical health, mental health, spiritual health.
We realize it is ESSENTIAL that we unplug for a while to dedicate ourselves to self care.
For ourselves, and for our relationship. It's not only good advice, it's healthy.

THE STORY:
Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his spine 9 months ago. He underwent emergency extensive surgery, radiation and then we were then "gently" evicted. Given our resources, we decided to do a cargo trailer camper conversion and transition into (not quite) van life / full time nomad life.

Van life was our dream for a long time and we guess the Universe heard us and make it happen!
Does it look like what we planned? Not exactly.
Is it working? Not exactly.

We let go of almost all our earthly possessions, planed on living off the grid as much as possible and do a lot of overlanding in our tiny house on wheels.
Our goal was a healthier, more simple, less stressful life.

Since then however, Life has thrown us a few extra curve balls and we're still trying to figure it out.
Being humans, we swing back and forth between fear and Trust, but we keep moving forward.

In the end, we always chose to trust the universe.
and we believe that life is happening FOR us and TROUGH us...most of the time!
