We've been doing a lot of thinking over the last few months; and have decided it would be best for us to not have any ferrets for the time being. This decision was not made lightly, as we absolutely adore ferrets, and we've had them for the last 8 years. We have dealt with a lot of pet loss over the past year or so (our cat Midnight, parrot Sunny, 3 Ferrets: Kreacher, Hagrid, and Winky), and our dog Jezabelle. Ferrets have already short life spans, and we have gotten a lot of 'handy me down ferrets', who were already 23 years old, so having to lose a ferret every 46 years isn't something we want to emotionally deal with right now. On top of the fact that we don't have a reliable 24 hour emergency vet clinic that sees ferrets on hand. Not all veterinary clinics see ferrets, and it's even harder to find one that's a 24 hour clinic.

Our last 2 ferret emergencies, both times, our nearby 24 hour emergency vet clinic for ferrets wouldn't/couldn't see them, which is very frustrating.

We are getting back on track with our videos, which will continue to feature our current pets: Cats Thor and Loki, and Border Collie Selene. With this, we felt compelled to have a name change, and really felt "Paws to Journey" really resonated with who we were. If you enjoy cats and/or dogs and adventures, we hope you continue to follow our journey.
