On the shores of the Mediterranean, just a few kilometers from Italy, Nice has the charm of southern cities. Before even landing on the tarmac in Nice, you will be breathless by the spectacle that awaits you through the window. It is not surprising that Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport has been, for several years in a row, on the podium of the most beautiful approaches in the world! In addition to the extraordinary shades of the Mediterranean Sea, the panorama of the mountains (snowcapped in winter) also arouses wonder.

Capital of the Côte d'Azur, Nice perfectly embodies the sweetness and the art of living. Blue of the Mediterranean, marvelous light that can only be found here, breakfast on a sunny terrace, calm of a walk in the alleys of the old town, lunch on the terrace of a hotel, afternoon shopping in the city's prestigious boutiques, a dip in the sea, an aperitif on the Cours Saleya, a classical music concert at the Opera, a gala evening at the Casino, a candlelight dinner in a starred restaurant...Nice is all this and more!

The recent inclusion of Nice in UNESCO is recognition of the exceptional universal value of the architectural, landscape and urban heritage of Nice, a fusion of international cultural influences. A veritable openair museum, Nice offers you its extraordinary Belle Époque, Art Deco and Baroque architectural heritage. Or even modern. Just look up and let yourself be surprised by so much diversity and refinement.

A popular destination for tourists from all over the world, the capital of the Côte d'Azur nestles between the Big Blue and the surrounding mountains, sometimes draped in white, sometimes carpeted in intense green.

Along the sea is the famous Promenade des Anglais, a prestigious avenue where palm trees line pretty Haussmann houses and sumptuous Belle Époque hotels, such as the Negresco or the Westminster. We settle on one of the many terraces facing the immense azure expanse of the Mediterranean or directly on its pebble beaches forming a shades of gray and blue. The most athletic will benefit from the road laid out for cyclists or rollerbladers.

Push your way to explore the secular heritage of the one nicknamed "Nissa la bella". In the heart of Old Nice, wander between the winding streets with colorful houses that make this timeless place so charming and discover Baroque buildings and churches such as the Gesù church, the Lascaris palace or the SainteRéparate cathedral. Stroll between the light ocher facades with turquoise shutters revealing authentic Provençal dwellings. It is highly recommended that you accompany this escape with a Niçoise ice cream whose striking flavors have nothing to envy to those of its Italian neighbour! Take advantage of this walk to discover local specialties. The district is home to small traditional shops showcasing the jewels of Provence: lavender, spices, herbs, scented candles... their scents mingle with those of socca, an amazing corn cake whose reputation extends beyond the borders. Also not to be missed is the famous Cours Saleya, where florists, fruit and vegetable merchants and local producers proudly unveil their stalls forming an incredible palette of colours. On Mondays, this place is reserved for secondhand goods dealers. Notice to amateurs! In the evening, the Cours Saleya comes alive with its many restaurants, bars and café terraces.
