Next James Bond, Who will it be?

The speculation over who would portray the next James Bond after Daniel Craig has turned into a reallife spy drama. Now that James Bond's “No Time To Die” is done, there has been a lot of conjecture regarding who will take over as 007. Rumors are circulating once more, with Game of Thrones' Richard Madden, Avengers' Tom Holland, Venom's Tom Hardy, Peaky Blinders’ Cillian Murphy, SAS: Red Notice's Sam Heughan, and even Bridgerton's RegeJean Page among the frontrunners.

But what makes a Bond? producer Barbara Broccoli claims that Craig is now a more malleable figure than he was previously. "It will have to be reimagined in the same manner that each actor has reimagined the character," she explained. "That is what makes this franchise so exciting and enjoyable, the character changes.

So, indeed, James Bond may be a nonwhite person. Broccoli confirmed that he could be nonBritish. But, for the time being, he can't be a lady. "We should establish roles for women, not simply transform men into women," Broccoli added, repeating remarks she stated in early 2020.
