The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence with a Top5 NationallyRanked Fine Arts Program, recently performed the high school premiere of "Newsies" on its main stage in the Page Family Center for Performing Arts. Starring senior Kyle Martin (Jack Kelly), senior Chris Pappas (Crutchie), senior Clay Hider (Davey), and sophomore Olivia Cornett (Katherine Plumber), this musical is said to be one of TKA Theatre Co.'s best.

TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, a twotime American High School Theatre Festival awardwinning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mr. Nathan Adams (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mr. Douglas Gawriljuk (Dance Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Lauren Moxey (Visual Art), Mrs. Stephanie Grasso (Elementary Choir, Woodwinds), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano).
