Our threemonth tour of Newfoundland, from midMay until midAugust, 2022, was an amazingly epic journey. This easternmost Canadian province, a halfhour ahead of Atlantic time, was the 10th and last to join the Canadian Confederation in 1949. Before that time, it was the Dominion of Newfoundland and a part of the British Empire.
Following our wildfire experience in Part 15, Part 16 starts with us leaving our Grand Falls campground for King's Point, located on the north shore of the southwest arm of Green Bay. Here we hiked the 8 km Alexander Murray Trail and visited the King's Point Whale Pavilion. Then, we started our southerly journey in the direction of Corner Brook to see Lark Harbour.
