We are talking about the danger signs or warning signs in newborn. So first of all if you feel that any of these signs are present in your baby you have to immediately consult your doctor as soon as possible because this can be life threatening. First point I would like to add is that if you feel that your baby is dull lethargic not feeling well at all and not urinating. By that I mean if you baby is not passing urine like more than 5 to 6 times a day then it is really less and your baby is dull you need to meet your doctor because this can be an early sign of infection. Second thing if you feel that your baby is not breathing well by that I mean if baby's breathing really fast rate of breathing is like more than 60 to 70 per minute and baby is taking a lot of efforts by breathing like there is an audible grunting or there is chest retractions then you should meet your doctor. This can be a sign of pneumonia or maybe any other infection. Third thing if you feel that their extremities or any part of the body is bluish in color or cyanosed then first of all what we need to do is just rewarm the baby. The most common cause of cyanosis in newborn especially hand and feet sinosis is that your baby is in cold stress. So you need to sort out the temperature or maybe increase the layering add cap written socks and after 30 minutes recheck the temperature. If your baby's color is still dusky you again have to rush to your doctor because it can be a sign of critical congenital heart disease, maybe some serious infection or maybe hypoglycemia. By hypoglycemia I mean low blood glucose. Third thing if you feel that your baby is puking a lot or maybe color of the vomit is blue greenish or yellowish that means that you might be dealing with an entity called intestinal obstruction which needs surgical attention as soon as possible. Then if your baby hasn't passed urine for last 12 hours this means that your baby can be really dehydrated and again you need an admission. Then if there is a bleeding from any part of the body then again you have to meet your doctor because this can be sign of coagulation deficiency disorder, some infection or vitamin K deficiency in newborn.
