Todd and I were able to visit a new year's matsuri being held not too far away from where I reside.
I've perhaps been to two or three of them during the summer where they showcase all the flashy fireworks and whatnot, but this was the first festival I've had the honor of visiting during the winter.
There was a prominent focus on a food, ranging from your generic street cuisine, all the way up to some of the rarer culinary delicacies.
