Captured here is Wildland 7, one of three new wildlands or brush (wildfire) units of the Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services (VFRS). This unit (a 2023 Ford F550XL 4x4) was put into service in August 2023 and now serves the Downtown area of the city. While they are designed to fight vegetation fires, these trucks primarily respond to medical emergency calls on a regular basis.

In this video, you will see Wildland 7 responding to four different emergency calls, as well as on scene. The new onscene light settings/ flash patterns are also interesting in these units.
