Range Rovers don’t come around very often. Over the car's 50year lifespan, this new model is just the fifth iteration of the iconic 4x4. The original Range Rover was conceived as the ultimate lifestyle SUV; luxury came later. The latest version is tasked with reinventing the genre yet again, with luxury, technology and design to the fore. There'll be two plugin hybrid versions on offer both using a 3.0litre straightsix petrol engine with up to 503bhp available. Mildhybrid tech will also be an option with a pair of 3.0litre sixcylinder diesels and a petrol version as well. Top of the range will be a twinturbo 4.4litre V8 petrol pumping out 523bhp.
