Industrial land developer JTC said the new Punggol Digital District could be the blueprint for future mixeduse properties in Singapore. The 50hectare district in the northeast is roughly the size of 70 football fields. It is set to open progressively later this year. Within the district, there are cybersecurity, AI, robotics and fintech firms that can help drive the nation's digital economy. The Singapore Institute of Technology will also set up a campus there. So far, businesses and retailers have signed up for more than threefifths of the available space in eight towers. Claudia Lim and Rebecca Metteo report.
