This new Defender 90 has a 3.0litre turbocharged diesel engine that can produce 250hp & 570Nm. It’s packed with incredible tech designed to make offreading easier, including surfacestudying cameras and terrain response. Will this give it the edge over its allelectric rival?

The electric Defender, meanwhile, has been fitted with the motor and inverter from a Tesla Model S. As a result, it can put down 450hp & 450Nm. But thanks to this conversion, it costs a staggering £150,000 more than three times the starting price of the new Defender 90!!!
