CAVEAT EMPTOR There's definitely no professionals on site, so we are open to any suggestions if you see anything incorrect or could be done better, no offense taken. Update 24 hours later We are going to need to just move the carriage around to be on the side of the hydraulic jack, a slight error on our behalf, but once again, no documentation from manufacturer that might have pointed this out. Fortunately, my mate Rob, VK2OMG pointed out the issue and we will sort today, easy fix. On a note that is definitely our fault, Adams VK2PW documentation does show very clearly, so this is our dumb mistake, so thanks to Adam and to Rob for all your help. Now onto the good news, this really seems to have gone up very simply and for a lighter duty 10m mast, I like it. Its cost effective, it has loads of applications and if Riley and I can put this up with no assistance, its easy to erect. How I started on this project and where we are now has been a situation of quite a bit of learning in between. I had my doubts initially but Im actually seeing a product that once you 100% understand how it was meant to be used by the manufacturer, it actually makes for a good solution, a verychood solution. Remember even Brain says, the hydraulic jack is for the pole weight only, not the weight including 50kgs of antennas. So bearing that in mind, a big thumbs up with what we have encountered. Thanks for all your comments, I hope these 3 videos help you to decide if an NBS mast is for you.
