Nazanin ZaghariRatcliffe speaks to Oxford Union President, Disha Hegde, about her experiences and life since her release from prison Iran. Ms ZaghariRatcliffe was detained by Iranian government in April 2016 as part of an ongoing dispute between Britain and Iran. She remained in Evin prison in Tehran until March 2022 when she was finally released and returned to the United Kingdom.

She and her husband, Richard Ratcliffe, continue to campaign for greater protections for British citizens.
