Hey loves!

It’s the 30th of December but the Christmas spirit is still very much alive here in Philippines! We Filipinos are notorious for having the longest Christmas celebration in the world—and why not?! We love an excuse to get together with our families, and extend parties with our loved ones!

Noche Buena or what we call “Christmas Eve dinner” in English, or “Bisperas ng Pasko” in Tagalog, is the perfect time for families to gather and feast.

Christmas was truly special for me this year cuz I spent my Noche Buena with not just one, but two families—at my grand aunt Mimi Helen and grand uncle Tatay Tito’s house, and of course, my Mama’s winter wonderland!

I realized that, in the end, this is the idea of what a perfect Christmas is… it’s about coming home to your family. Whoever family is to you. It’s not about opening gifts, but opening our hearts to the people who truly matter in our lives. ✨

Kayo, kumusta ang Pasko niyo? Sana kasama niyo rin ang mga pamilya niyo. And just like Mama’s hot cocoa, I hope the warmth of this holiday season brings families closer to each other throughout the new year ahead. ❣
